Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

1931: Stationery Envelope, 1½ d. orange, used from Umuahia to London, dated 21 September 1931, cancelled by a double circle "UMUAHIA" in black. To the reverse a "PORT HARCOURT NIGERIA" double circle transit dated 21 September 1931, minor imperfections, scarce; used within the three month period between issue and the increase in the imperial rate. Very difficult to find.
