1889/1945ca: This collection features Russian stamps used in Finland, both loose and on covers or cards, And further included are Finnish issues with such intended solely for internal use, a cover from a Russian soldier addressed to a Finnish hospital with Red Cross markings, and Russian Army field-post from Sveaborg. The collection also comprises censored mail and postal stationery in the form of postcards, envelopes, and wrappers. A notable section is dedicated to mail from Karelia, featuring censored and registered mail and field-post envelopes and again also loose stamps. Among the highlights is an interesting and rare item: a field-post envelope with propaganda print and field-post cancel, addressed to the 'Karelian Soviet Republic'. The entire collection is written up on album pages, accompanied by knowledgeable descriptions.
