Vidin Austrian P.O. 1838: Entire letter from Widdin to Orsova, disinfected with manuscript "Gereinigt" (Cleaned, Purified) and signed "Dr. Wenger, Contumazdirektor" (Quarantine Director) and struck with superb framed "ALT-ORSOVA" handstamp in black. The DDSG had an Agency at Widdin from 1830 onwards. Scarce and fine entire.
