Austrian P.O. 1864: Arms 10 s. blue (on reverse) and 15 s. brown, perf. 9½, used on 1866 cover to Adrianopel, Turkey endorsed "per Rustschuk & Sliven" tied by oval framed "BUKAREST / RECOMMANDIRT" datestamp (April 1) in black with 10 s. blue similarly tied on reverse (Tchilinghirian fig. 716) complete but torn on opening. "CONSTANTINOPEL" cds unusually struck in red (April 6) on reverse. Some small faults due to application but a rare and attractive usage.
