Egyptian Consular Post Office 1874/75: Egypt 20 pa. bluish-grey and 1 pi. red, used on 1875 cover from Smirna to Constantinople tied by "V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE / SMIRNE" cds (Nov 8) with information strike adjacent in black. Reverse with "V.R. Poste Egiziane / Costantinopoli" cds of arrival (Nov 10). Part flap missing but a scarce post UPU rate cover between two overseas Consular Offices. Cert. Todd (2010).
