1876: Cover from Callao to Colchester, UK endorsed 'via Panama', franked by 1866/67 Llama 20 c. brown diagonally bisected to pay 10 c. internal rate, used in combination with Great Britain 1867/83 6 d. grey pl. 15 and 1 s. green pl. 12, all tied by "C38" obliterators of Callao. Reverse with Callao cds of despatch (Oct 28) and Colchester arrival cds (Nov 29). A fine and rare usage. Certs. Potel (2003), Moorhouse (June 2006).
