Central China, 1949 (13 Dec.) airmail envelope from Kongmoon to Portland, Oregon, U.S.A., bearing "Sui (Canton)" perf. by imperf. $1000 Postage Meter label, cancelled by dotted rim d.s., envelope crumpled and roughly opened at left, very early usage of the "Sui (Canton)" meter paying the $1000 international rate by surface mail which was in effect from 9 to 31 December 1949.
