23 Apr 1898, a remarkably fine use of three FOOCHOW dollar chop on C.I.P. 1st series stationery card to Australia.23 Apr 1898, a C.I.P. 1st series stationery card sent from Foochow to Australia, uprated with one block of four 1/2-cents and three 1-cent Japane Coiling Dragon stamps, mixed with two 2-cent Hong Kong QV stamps, cancelled by three Foochow dollar chops, HK-Victoria cancellations, "Sydney" arrival c.d.s.. The FOOCHOW dollar chops are in high quality, making it a rare combination to be sent to a relatively uncommon location in AUSTRALIA. Notably, the FOOCHOW dollar chop is of the type in intercalary month and thus rare.
1898年4月23日清一次郵資片從福州寄去澳大利亞新南威爾斯省,貼日本蟠龍票 半分4方連、1分3枚,混貼香港維多利亞弍先時2枚,銷3個福州郵政局大圓戳,香港維多利亞票銷2個香港日戳,旁銷澳大利亞雪梨到達印,福州大圓戳戳印清晰兼實寄到一較罕的南半球地方,而此福州大圓戳為潤三月大圓印,上述組合罕少,戳印清晰保存完好。
