ERITREA. 1889. 10 c. carmine rose, seven examples used on reverse of 1889 double rate registered cover to Rome, all tied by neat strikes of ´MASSAUA*(MAR ROSSO)´ datestamps (Type III). Obverse with perforated registered label and further strike of Massaua datestamp. Some wear but a very attractive franking.
