Russian P.O. in Tripoli of Syria 1913 (Feb 14): Envelope to Patras bearing 1913 Romanov 5 pa. on 1 kop., 15 pa. on 3 kop., and 20 pa. on 4 kop., tied by "P.O.P.iT. / TIREBOLI" cross-type cds in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 215), reverse with ALEXANDRIA transit and PATRAS arrival (Feb 23) cds's. Russian P.O. in Acre 1871 (Oct 2): The famous cover from Acre to Beirut franked at Ship rate of 6 kopeks with pair of 1868 3 kop. green, perf. 11½, cancelled by the unique framed floral handstamp of Acre in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 224) with Nicola Datodi sender's cachet below and reverse with over-inked "PORT BEIRUT" datestamp in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 217). Russian P.O. in Alexandria 1863: 6 kopeks indigo, a superb used example cancelled by three strikes of the dotted '785' numeral handstamp in blue. Exceptional and extremely rare, one of just two, perhaps three examples recorded thus.

Russian P.O. in Alexandria 1867 (April 24): Entire letter from Alexandria to Beirut bearing 2 pi. blue and rose with good to large margins, tied by light “PORT ALEKSANDRIYA” datestamp (Tchilinghirian fig 256), in addition upon arrival by bold rhomboid '783' numeral of Beirut, both in blue, a despatch information strike alongside. An interesting double cancellation presumably due to the light Alexandria obliteration. Cert. Mikulski (1999).

Russian P.O. in Alexandria 1872ca: Envelope from Alexandria to the metropolitan archbishop of Jerusalem, bearing 1872 1 kop. brown and 5 kop. blue, perf. 14½ : 15 on horizontally laid paper, tied by rhomboid '785' numeral of Alexandria in blue, matching "PORT ALEKSANDRIYA" despatch cds (Tchilinghirian fig. 256) in blue on reverse. The 5 kopeck adhesive defective, nevertheless an appealing cover, cert. BPA (2002).
