1873/74: 6 d. grey, plate 15, in combination with 1 s. green, plate 12, 'HUTH' perfins on both, used on cover, from London to Lima, Peru, dated 15 November 1876, tied by duplex cancel in black, endorsed "Via Southampton", on reverse horizontal pair Peru 1874/79 Postage Due 5 c. vermilion cancelled by 'LIMA PRINCIPAL' circular datestamp 18 December 1876, very scarce and interesting. Additionally comes with an 1871 cover front franked with GB 1 d. red, plate 134, tied by indistinct barred oval (possibly C38), sent from Callao to Walden, USA, with forwarding agent cachet in red alongside and Panama datestamp 20 September 1871, one arrival in US a 'Due 2' applied.
