Austrian P.O. 1864: Arms 10 s. blue and 15 s. brown, perf. 9½, single examples used on 1867 entire letter from Constantinople to Bucharest, mailed by Ship's captain or Agent on arrival in Varna and tied by two line "VARNA / 4. LUG." datestamp in blue; with private oval "FRANCO" struck in blue alongside. Illustrated in "Die Österreichische Levantepost in Bulgarien" by Dr. G. Popov on page 56. A fine and rare entire.
