Perhaps very slightly sharper but there is a rim bruise before the chin that catches your eye. Otherwise only minor nicks consistent with the grade including a rim nick off the bust tip and another left of the L in LIBERTY. Glossy medium chocolate brown.  Lot 424 - united states draped bust cents - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #841804 S-266b R5 ANACS graded VG Details, Cleaned. Glossy medium chocolate brown and steel with slightly lighter highpoints from a delicate cleaning. The surfaces are smooth except for traces of very light roughness at the top of the reverse. A dent in the center of the obverse created a minor bulge in the center of the reverse causing extra wear on EN in CENT. The date and legends are complete and easily readable although a couple letters are weak. Rare M-LDS, Breen state III, with a cud break at RTY but no cud at MERIC. Our grade is VG7 sharpness net G5. Glossy steel and medium chocolate brown. No roughness or verdigris, only light contact marks, none notable. The best identifying marks are a spot of lighter reddish steel brown toning over the N in ONE and a small struck-through line at the upper junction of the N & T in CENT (as struck). EDS, Breen state I. There is no trace of a die crack at MERI. The "Mumps" break at the throat and Doubled Fraction Bar features are clear. Our grade is VF25. Sharpness VF20 but the planchet is covered with fine granularity that dulls the natural gloss. There are a couple fine scratches hidden in the toning left of the L in LIBERTY, a tiny speck of raised verdigris in the field off the chin, plus a couple light scratches over CENT and a few more through the denominator. Dark olive brown and steel with lighter steel brown toning covering the devices. Looks nicer than it might sound. M-LDS, Breen state IV. Five points sharper but there is a small dig in the field before the eye, too big to be called a pin prick but not by much. The only other notable marks are a similar dig under the 8 in the date and a couple light horizontal nicks in the field under the hair ribbon. Glossy light to medium chocolate brown with bluish steel overtones on the reverse. Five points sharper but there are several small rim bruises or dull rim nicks on each side, the largest of these left of the L in LIBERTY. The surfaces are mostly smooth but a glass reveals traces of verdigris on each side. Rather glossy chocolate brown and steel with steel brown toning on the devices. Impressive M-LDS, Breen state VI, Iskra state IV. The "Comet" flaw behind the head is bold and the other linear die flaws in the obverse fields and across the neck are clear. Slightly sharper but there are a few dozen small pits scattered over the obverse. No verdigris but the remainder of the planchet is covered with microscopic granularity under attractive glossy medium chocolate brown and steel toning. The only contact marks are a scuff of shallow scratches from the rim at the top of the obverse down into the hair where they fade away. The date is complete and easily readable although the 3 is weak. The rim is wearing into the legend on the reverse and the denominator of the fraction is gone, but the numerator is still visible.
