Die Eisenbahngesellschaft wurde 1836 gegründet. Sie betrieb zunächst die Strecke von Manchester nach Normanton Junction. 1837 fusionierte die Firma mit sechs weiteren Bahnen zur Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. 16 October 1841, 1 Share of £ 25, #C13282, 15 x 21 cm, black, beige, lower left corner cut out, folds, only known copy. The company was formed in 1836, to build a line from Manchester to Normanton Junction. The company merged with six other companies to form the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company in 1847.
