1878 (May 3): De La Rue Die Proof for 10 s. value in black on glazed white card, with uncleared Corner Letters and Plate Number, the Die now almost complete (this ebing the last Proof before the hardening stage, after more slight alterations to the lines of background, handstamped "May 3, 1878" in black. A rare and very fine Proof Gi J124 = £ 3'500.

1882 (Nov 25): 5 s. rose on blued paper, Plate 4, wmk. Anchor, perf. 14, lettered DG, a used example cancelled by "Lime St. / Liverpool" circular datestamp struck in blue (Dec 14, 1882). Slightly aged but a fine example used in third week of issue. Rare Gi J123 = £ 4'800.

1882 (Nov 25): 5 s. rose on white paper, Plate 4, wmk. Anchor, lettered AA, a used example, well centred and of bright colour, neatly cancelled by "Worcester" circular datestamp (Jan 16, 1884) in black. Corner bend at upper right but an attractive example of a rare stamp. Cert. BPA (1978) Gi J123a = £ 4'200.

1875; De La Rue Die Proof for 2½ d. value in black on glazed white card, the Master Die Proof showing the near complete design with just the Plate Number area and Corner Letters left blank, handstamped "Feb. 10 1875" and endorsed BEFORE HARDENING in black. Fresh and very fine, an extremely scarce Proof Gi J1 = £ 2'000.

1875 (July 1): 2½ d. rosy-mauve on white paper, Plate 1, wmk. Anchor, lettered AH-AI / BH-BI, an unused block of four of fresh bright colour and appearance, vertical crease and some central perforation repair to protect the multiple, part og. Gi J1 = £ 3'800.

1880 (Feb 5): 2½ d. blue, Plate 20, wmk. Orb, lettered IA-IF / JA-JF, an unused block of twelve, of lovely fresh colour, corner interpanneau marginal with 'POSTAGE TWO P(ENCE)' imprint at top, of excellent centering and vibrant colour, fresh and very fine, typical wrinkles on superb large part or unmounted og. Despite a block of 20 in the Royal collection, this is the largest recorded multiple from plate 20 in private hands according to Karl...

1874/80: 6 d. grey, Plate 17, wmk. Spray, lettered AB-AD / BB-BD, an unused block of six, well centred and of good colour, minor wrinkles on large part or unmounted og. A scarce and most attractive multiple Gi J87 = £ 6'650.

1881 (March 23): 2½ d. blue, Plate 22, wmk. Crown, lettered MD-MF / OD-OF, an unused block of nine, of vibrant fresh colour, large part or unmounted og. A scarce and most attractive multiple Gi J24 = £ 4'725.

1882 (Nov): Imprimatur 1 s. in purple-brown, Plate 13, wmk. Crown, lettered HE, an imperforate example in this delicate shade (prepared in preparation for overprinting), good to large margins all round, tiny thin spot not detracting from appearance, part og. Very rare. Cert. BPA (2021) Gi = £ 7'500.

1881: De La Rue Die Proof for the 1 d. value in black, Die II, imperforate from cut down galzed card Proof, applied stamp size to card, endorsed "12 Leads" and dated "Mar. 19" in ink. Some surface faults commensurate with a working Proof from the De La Rue Striking Book archives, struck in 1886 by pencil notation. Rare Gi K8 = £ 1'500.

1883 (July 2): 2 s. 6 d. lilac on blued paper, wmk. Anchor, lettered CF, an imperforate Imprimatur, with large margins all round, fresh clear colour; one or two negligible wrinkles on large part og. Rare Gi K9 = £ 5'000.
Remark: The adjoining Imprimatur CE is in the National Postal Museum in London (vol. XXXIX; page 25).

1883: De La Rue Die Proof for the 5 s. value in black on glazed white card, dated "11 JUL 83" and endorsed BEFORE HARDENING in black. Negligible removed stain at lower left of Proof impression but fine and very rare Gi K11 = £ 3'500.
