1861 (May): 1 d. rose-red in a horizontal pair and September 1862 single 6 d. deep yellow-green, no wmk., rough to intermediate perf. 14-16, used on 1867 Polignac cover to Paris tied by neat strikes of "A10" obliterator in brownish ink; with ST. VINCENT despatch cds (Aug 9) at left. The 1 d. adhesives also tied in transit by "London / Paid" cds in red (Aug 27). Manuscript "7" (pence) for British credit at left in red crayon and readdressed from Paris to Maromme (Aug 28) upon arrival. A fresh and fine cover, rare.
