Boer War / Prisoner of War Mail 1890: 1 d. pale red, perf. 14, a used example on 1901 cover to Swellendam, Cape Colony tied by barred obliterator in black (Hibbert CNC2), with "ST. HELENA" despatch cds (Feb 19), readdressed to Greyton, Caledon and the adhesive just tied by ".DEAD.WOOD.CAMP." straight line handstamp in black (Type BW4). Circular "CENSOR PRISONERS OF WAR" in red and counter-signed "CNAS" at left. Scarce and most attractive cover.
