Webb, 1-1-10 (Cochise). Manuscript postmark in circle (Meyer 1, rarity 7) used as receiver on reverse of El Paso & Southwestern System corner card cover, franked with 1¢ Washington, two singles tied by "Courtland, Ariz., Jan 1, 1910" four-bar cds; cover edge faults affecting one stamp, F.-V.F., the earliest and only known manuscript postmark from Webb.

Winslow, A.T., Jul 9, 1885 (Gila). Cds (Meyer 2, rarity 6) on 1884, 2¢ brown entire to Indiana, pencil docketing; slight reduction just into indicia, otherwise Very Fine, the only recorded example of this postmark.

Pedro Aguirre & Co. Black company frank on unused 1884, 2¢ brown on amber entire, trivial tone spot at top, otherwise Very Fine, one of two known mint examples of this frank, the other example was recently sold in our 2014 Westpex sale for $800 hammer.

(Wells Fargo & Co.) Kingman, Ariz., Oct 24, 1883 (Mohave). Cds and grid duplex (Meyer 2A, rarity 8) on 1883, 3¢ vermilion paste-up entire to Mineral Park, A.T., manuscript "via Needles & Kingman" routing endorsement, entire with oval San Francisco origin date stamp, Very Fine, a rare Kingman express usage.
Estimate; $300 - 400.

(Wells Fargo & Co.) So Pac Co., Bowie, Jan 6, 1890 (Cochise). Blue circular date stamp on reverse of 1887, 2¢ green entire to San Francisco, Cal., bold blue "Wells, Fargo & Co., San Francisco, Jan 9, 1890" receiving date stamp and company frank at top, Very Fine, a very rare usage, this being one of two known express usages from Bowie.

Arizona Statehood Covers. Approximately 300-400 mostly in albums; mostly different types including military barracks, Native American towns and other better; worth a look.

Phoenix Territorial Covers (Maricopa). Study of approximately 90 covers and cards in two cover albums; starting with usages in 1876 with type 1 postmark (four recorded) and type 2 (6 recorded) in 1878, later comprehensive with most types represented including the 1880's single and double line boxed date stamps, type 9 postmark in violet and blue, scarce 1888 M.O.B. postmark (type 10, 4 recorded), later with corner card and registry...

(Arkansas) Little Rock, Ark., 1831/Sept 8. Bold strike of fancy shield in semi-circle postmark on folded letter sheet to Fayetteville, N.C., manuscript "Double 25 25/50" rating, forwarded to Charlotte with additional manuscript for "25/75" rate; some internal reinforcement along folds, Very Fine, an attractive strike of this rare Little Rock, Arkansas fancy territorial date stamp, with 2013 P.F. certificate.

Black Hawk Point Col. T. Feb 15. Second type "custom" cds on buff cover franked with 1861 3¢ rose (well centered) with target cancel, with original 1864 enclosure, Very Fine and attractive, ex Persson.

This postmark was used only in early 1864. The postmaster obtained these devices from private suppliers, rather than the Post Office Department in Washington.

Buena Vista, Colo., Aug 10, 1880 (Chaffee). Violet cds and wheel-of-fortune duplex cancelling 3¢ Banknote on cover to Pagetown, O., with original enclosure datelined from Garfield regarding mining and mentions the various mines, Very Fine.

Denver City C.T. Mail Handling Affidavit. 1862 document docketed "Evidence from Denver City, rebutting charges vs. Overland Co. as to dumping mails on side walk etc.", with enclosure in full:
