Lawson, Colo., Dec 7, 1888 (Clear Creek). Clear cds (B3) with Maltese crosses either side of the date, on return cover to Boston, Mass., franked with 2¢ Banknote tied by grid handstamp, Very Fine, latest reported use of the third cancel from Lawson.

Louisville, Colo., V.H. Darrow, P.M., Jan 29, 1881 (Boulder). Bold town and postmaster cds (B2) on cover to Loveland, 3¢ Banknote (s.e. at right) tied by target handstamp, Very Fine and choice, the earliest recorded use of this postmark, ex New, Bauer.

Pueblo, C. Ty., May 5. Cds and matching target handstamp canceling 1869, 3¢ ultramarine on cover to Trinidad, C.T. with lovely printed Thatcher Bros. corner card, with original 1870 letterhead enclosure, accompanied by second similar cover with postmark in red (cover corner nick) and postal card usage in care of Thatchers & Bros., Very Fine.

Saguache, Colorado., Feb 21, 1880 (Saguache). Cds (B4.1) with fancy circled star killer tying 3¢ Banknote, two singles on cover to Denver; cover reduced at left, otherwise Very Fine, the only reported example of this postmark type.

Salida, Colorado., Dec 6, 1897 (Chaffee). Blue straight line cancel (B8) on registered cover to New York City, franked with quartered cork canceled 2¢ + 8¢ bureau issues, Very Fine, the earliest reported use of this straightline cancel.

(Connecticut) Windsor, Ct., Jany 26. Straight line postmark with manuscript date and "12½" rate, on 1843 folded letter to New York City, Very Fine and choice, with 2010 P.F. certificate.

(Florida) Tallahassee, Flo./Feb. 17, 1840. Oval postmark (type VI) on 1840 folded cover to New York with manuscript "25" rate, cover with printed bill of lading for "package of 50 Silver Dollars", plus interesting written contents, Extremely Fine.
