1853 (May): Laureated 8 d. orange-yellow on bluish medium wove paper, a used horizontal pair with good even margins all round, positions 21-22, with left stamp showing variety "No Leaves to Right of SOUTH" and right hand stamp showing variety "No Lines in Spandrel", the pair lightly cancelled in black leaving the varieties clear.
