1853 (May): Laureated 8 d. orange-yellow on bluish medium wove paper, the famous corner marginal used block of four, positions 1-2 / 11-12, shaved at right with clear to large margins on three sides, two small closed tears and horizontal bend on lower pair not affecting the appearance, with position 12 showing plate variety "No Lines in Spandrels", cancelled by reversed "9" numeral obliterators of Bathurst in black.
