1887: Salomon, collection presented upon seven album pages, including all values unused, with two progressive master Die Proofs in black, two Composite Essays in black, an unadopted Essay, composite proof set of proofs in blocks of four (1 c. block of eight) on paper or card; also a rare local revolutionary stamp with the "R:S" overprint in black on a 1 c. (less than ten examples recorded) with 'GONAIVES' cancel and a set of imperforate plate proofs with perforated 'SPECIMEN / SKIPPER' (Skipper & East - printers), a magnificent assembly, rarely available.
