Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

Biafra 1967: Commercial envelope sent registered, franked with Nigerian postage (x4 1d & x1 9d) and unusually a Nigerian Oyo Carver 3 d. deep-green aerogramme stationery cut-out (to make up the rate 1 s. 4 d.), used from Eziamgbo to Enugu, dated 15 June 1967, cancelled by "EZIAMGBO P.A." circular datestamp in black, with an "ISHIELU COUNTY COUNCIL / EZZAMGBO ABAKALIKI" cachet dated by manuscript. To the reverse, three further strikes of the Eziamgbo datestamp and a partial registered oval of Enugu dated 15 June 1967. A scarce combination.
