Russian P.O. in Alexandretta 1864 (March 12): Letter sheet from Alexandretta to Aleppo, internally dated "22 Marzo 1864" (gregorian), struck on reverse by clear “PORT ALEKSANDRETTA” cds with year slug blanked in blue (Tchilinghirian fig 800) with sender’s cachet on front. Interesting with clear strike.
