TURKEY: Abdul Hamid II, 1876-1909, AR medal, AH1300 (1883), NP-1112, Grand Medal of Distinction (Tarz-i jedid Buyuk Imtiyaz), new style, unnamed, gold plated and silver examples, in original box of issue with ribbons (unattached), set of two medals, EF, RR. The Imtiyaz Medal was an Ottoman military decoration, instituted in 1882. It was presented in two classes, gold and silver and awarded for extraordonary bravery and loyalty to the State. Very rare to find with case of issue. Photo size reduced.
