Chad 1935, Air Afrique: cover franked with pair of French Equatorial overprinted 30 c. red, from Fort Lamy (now N'Djamena) capital of Chard to Paris, dated 29 July 1935, stamps tied by "Pour vos correspondances / Utilisez Les Avion / Air-Afrique / Rapiditè-Régularite" and "Voie Transsaharienne" handstamps in black, carried on a flight from Fort Lamy on 30 July, connection in Algiers arriving in Marseille 1 August 1935, arrival 2 August, the rate of 60 c. is a 10 c. overpayment for a standard letter rate, no surcharge has been paid although transmitted by air.
