1840: 2 d. blue, plate 1, lettered GA, a used example with good even margins all round, on 1843 entire letter from the famous Horrockses, Miller Preston correspondence, tied by superb strike of London Number in Cross No. 8 in black. A wonderful cover and the only London MC 8 on 1840 2d used on entire. Certificate RSPL (2016) Gi 5wh = £ 14'000 off cover.
