Lot 1830 - united states $1 gold - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #841855. PCGS graded MS-62. Especially bright and lustrous for this elusive type coin with frosty, reddish-gold surfaces. The strike is sharp enough to bring out Liberty's finer curls and the definition on the wreath. Even the often poorly defined central details on the reverse are sharp on this example including all letters of the denomination, however minor weakness shows on the digits of the date. Several possible mint-made diagonal marks are also noted at the center of the reverse (PCGS # 7532) . Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #84united states $1 gold |

Lot 1827 - united states $1 gold - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #841852-C. Winter-2, Repunched Date. PCGS graded MS-61. The base of an underlying 1 can be seen below the center of the base of the 1 in the date. Boldly struck with evidence of typical die clashing on both sides. Honey-gold mint luster and just a few small marks and abrasions are noteworthy attributes of this splendid, conditionally scarce Charlotte-mint example. Pop 7; 19 finer, 7 in 62, 8 in 63, 4 in 64. (PCGS # 7518) . Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #84united states $1 gold |

Lot 1828 - united states $1 gold - Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc. Pre-Long Beach Auction #841853-D. PCGS graded AU-58. A mostly unabraded and attractive copper-gold representative of this low mintage Dahlonega one dollar coin. The strike is quite sharp aside from softness on some of the dentils as is normal. We believe this is scarcer in the present quality than the PCGS Population Report suggests, due to numerous resubmissions still on record. Pop 24; 18 finer (PCGS # 7523) .
