Oil on hardboard, framed. Nice, special frame.
A handsome, impressive Rebbe in traditional clothing with a Shtreimel, recalling his father. The painting depicts the shadow of a man on a wall - most likely, the Rebbe's father.
His look is deep and full of sorrow.

Rare Charity Box – Union of Jewish Women –Wood and Brass – Germany, circa the Early 20th Century
A charity box shaped as a lighthouse. The body of the box is made of brass while its base and upper part are made of engraved wood.
In the center, a slot for inserting the coins. Under it, a plaque with an engraved inscription: "Frauen Uerein" – Union of Women and a pair of small stars-of-David. Inside the box there are some old coins.
Height: 22cm.
Condition: Good. Signs of age.

Silver Spice Container of Rabbi Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Schwadron Author of 'Minchat Yitzchak' – the 19th Century
Special, Rare Silver Spice Container, which had belonged to Rabbi Yitzchak Hacohen Schwadron, one of the geniuses of Jerusalem.
On the flag of the tower, an engraving of the Hebrew year and "Yitzchak Cohen Schwadron".
Silver (has been examined, not marked). Circa the middle of the 19th century. Fermany/Poland.
The container stands on three stems. Spherical container for the spices with engravings and holes for spreading the smell of the spices in the upper lid. Connected by a mast with screwing. On its upper end, two flags and an engraving: "Yitzchak Schwadron"; "651 (1891)".
Rabbi Yitzchak Ha'Cohen Schwadron (1856-1919) was a rabbi in Galicia. In 1903, he immigrated to the land of Israel and settled in Jerusalem. He was one of the rabbis who studied at the Kabbalistic Yeshiva "Sha'ar Ha'Shamayim". He authored commentaries on the Tosefta "Minchat Yitzchak" and "Shirei Mincha", on Seder Zeraim, Moed, Nashim and Nezikin. He edited and proofread the writings of his father the Maharsham of Brzeżany. His wife was pious and scholarly and some of her novellae on the Talmud were printed.
Among his children is "the Jerusalemite Maggid" Rabbi Shalom Schwadron.

מגדל בשמים מיוחד ונדיר, שהיה שייך לגאון רבי יצחק הכהן שבדרון זצ"ל, מגאוני ירושלים.
על דגל המגדל חריטה "תרנא" (1891) ו"יצחק כהן שוואדראן".
כסף (נבדק, לא חתום). אמצע המאה ה-19 בקירוב. גרמניה / פולין.
המגדל ניצב על שלושה רגליים. מיכל כדורי לבשמים עם חריטה וחורים להפצת ריח הבשמים במכסה העליון. מחובר על ידי תורן עם הברגה. בקצהו העליון 2 דגלים וחריטה: "יצחק כהן שוואדראן"; "תרנ"א".
הגאון רבי יצחק הכהן שבדרון (תרכ"ו, 1856 - תרע"ט, 1919) היה רב בגליציה. בשנת תרס"ג עלה ארצה והתיישב בירושלים. נמנה עם רבני ישיבת המקובלים שער השמים. חיבר את הפירושים על התוספתא "מנחת יצחק" ו"שירי מנחה", על סדר זרעים, מועד, נשים ונזיקין. ערך וההדיר כתבי אביו המהרש"ם מברז'אן. זוגתו היתה צדקנית וחכמנית, וחלק מחידושיה על הש"ס נדפסו.
בין ילדיו: "המגיד הירושלמי" הרב שלום שבדרון.
מצב: טוב מאוד.
