Stamp Duty Issue 1885 (Jan): Recess printing £ 25 deep bluish-green, wmk. V over Crown sideways, perf. 12½, an unused example overprinted "Specimen" in grey-black twice at both left and right of stamp and further larger "Cancelled" in black manuscript, fresh and fine but for some gum loss, browned large part og. A rare stamp (normal cancelled £ 60'000), Ceremuga states "only a small number of "Specimens" recorded and this is the only example...

1901/10: £ 1 carmine-rose matched with £ 2 deep blue, perf. 12½, unused examples, of fine colour and appearance, with large part og. (£ 1 gum slightly toned), come with 1905/13 £ 1 salmon, perf. 11, unused example, diagonal gum bend at top, large part og. Also; 1905/13 £ 2 dull blue, Perf. 12½, used with part 'Melbourne' cds, fine example. A scarce group (4) Gi 399, 400, 432 & 444 = £2,025.

Crown over A, perf. 11, unused matching corner blocks of four (4) from top right of sheet, from Plates I-IV, showing the corresponding dots in the marginal rule for each Plate, the Plate II block with watermark inverted, minor bends but generally fresh and fine, large part or unmounted og.  A delightful page.

1854: Lithographed 4 d. deep dull blue, wmk. Swan sideways, a used example with good to large margins all round, cancelled by near complete strike of the Bowra circle and bars "8" numeral obliterator of Fremantle in blue. Superb and rare Gi = £ 900+.
