Overprinted at the Zanzibar Gazette 1895/96: India ½ a. blue-green vertical pair, one with small raised second "z", 1 a. plum, 1 a. 6 p. sepia (both stamps with small second "z" in Zanzibar) and 2 a. pale blue all in horizontal pairs used on 1898 registered 2 a. blue postal stationery envelope to Ulm, Germany tied by "Zanzibar" squared circle datestamps (Nov 3) in black. Circular 'R' of registration and reverse with Ulm arrival (Nov 24). A fine and attractive cover.
