1851 (April 21): Prepaid stampless entire letter to Albury struck with octagonal framed "YASS / POST PAID" in red. Endorsed 'prepaid' and rated '2d.' in red manuscript. Reverse with oval framed "YASS / ♚ / NEW S. WALES" datestamp (April 24) in black. A superb and scarce entire ex the Evans correspondence, the contents (full transcription enclosed) relate to marrying off Mr. W.B.
