1889: ½ d. brown postal stationery wrapper (H&B WP16b), uprated with two pairs of the Jubilee 1887 ½ d. vermilion, sent to Rotterdam, Netherlands, dated 14 November 1892, cancelled by the railway circular postmark 'EDINR & NEWCASTLE S.T. DAY MAIL' in black. To the reverse an arrival cds in black (15 November). Some creasing and light soiling, otherwise fine. A rare combination. Comes with twelve additional covers, all postal stationery uprated with Jubilee 1887 ½ d. vermilion. Includes a number of scarcer combination, such as 1891 1 d. pink (x2) compound stationery (H&B ESC24) uprated with a single ½ d., sent from Manchester to Paris. Also, amongst others; an 1855 2 d. blue (embossed 29.8.88) stationery envelope (H&B ES15) uprated with a single ½ d., sent 7 November 1888. A mainly fine selection. Scarce group (13).
