Auction # 2320 ARGENTINA: Special late May auction

GJ.40 + 41, 1867/73 San Martín 15c. light blue with groundwork of CROSSED lines in an intermediate state between the first impressions of crossed lines (where the diagonal lines are very notable) and the final worn stage of horizontal lines. The left stamps have a groundwork of horizontal lines and the right stamps have crossed lines, mint WITH original gum, one example MNH, excellent and very rare. There are very few known blocks, and this one is the most interesting example!
