Postal Stationery 1879/1912: The Postal Stationery collection on leaves and loose with 1879 ½ d. unused and used (2) and 1 d. card unused and used (2), rare ½ d. and 1 d. cards overprinted SPECIMEN in black (Samuel type WA1); 1890 2 d. carmine and 3 d. green unused (H&G 3+4), 1½ d. on 3 d. green card unused and used, 1894 1 d. brown card unused and used (2), 1903 1+1 d. and 1½+1½ d. cards unused and 'Specimen' examples with four ring cancel, rare 1904 1 d. blue card "Available for the Commonwealth" fresh unused (H&G 9 = RRR), together with a four ring 'Specimen' and a used example from Freemantle to Perth (also `RRR`), 1905 1 d. blue card used (H&G 10), 1½ on 2 d. red card unused and used,  1908 "Welcome American Fleet" 1 d. blue card unused (H&G 12), 1909 1 d. blue card unused and used, 1910 1 d. blue card unused, 1½ d. blue on green unused, 1912 "One Penny" on 2 d. red card unused, Letter-Cards with 1902 1 d. unused, three lines of text and rare (H&G A1), and 2 d. red-brown card with four lines of text verso unused (H&G A2) - very rare (ex Butterfield collection) and an even rarer used example mailed in 1902 to London; 1903 2 d. blue cards unused and 'Specimen' cancel, 1912 'One Penny' on 2 d. ultramarine card unused, Envelopes 1902 1 d. and 2 d. envelopes unused and used (H&G B1+B2), Registered Envelopes 1902/05 3 d. registration envelope with four ring 'Specimen' cancel, 1905 3 d. brown envelope up-rated with 2½ d. blue used from Perth to Bassein, Burma - very rare; Wrappers incl. 1910 ½ d. green and 1 d. vermilion 'with border lines removed' fine unused. Fresh and very fine quality, a rare assembly (48 items).
