1871: ½ d. pale lilac postal stationery card, a used example, sent from London to Congleton, dated 9 January 1871, cancelled by a fair strike of the very rare Azemar rectangular London town die and '89' numeral in diamond experimental duplex cancellation in black (Dubus Type 28). Card has a central vertical crease and soiled (H&B CP2). Extremely rare; only in use from 4 January to 2 February 1871 on postcards. One of eleven recorded on cover/card.
