1909. PCGS graded Proof 65 Red & Brown. CAC Approved. After the low-mintage 1909 V.D.B. proofs were struck, there were 2,342 proof Lincoln cents produced without the designer's initials. As expected, the striking details on this matte proof are sharp in all areas. The surfaces have the typical fine-grain texture as is seen on matte proofs.
