1934: Cardinal Pacelli, Christ of Corcovado issue, group comprising two unused blocks of four of the 700 r. ultra, one tête-bêche the other with variety of 'white triangle on the front of Christ's ribe', also a vertical pair of the 300 r. dark red and 700 r. grey-blue tête-bêche from the first and second printing, all very fresh with no gum, scarce group. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.

1866/79: Dom Pedro, Group of four covers, three with perforated issues, one example with rouletted adhesives, comprising; very attractive 1866 cover franked with a combination of 100 r. green and 200 r. black tied by undated oval cancel, 1874 cover from Paraná to Lapa franked with two 50 r. blue cancelled by purple cork cancel with matching datestamp alongside, 1867 wrapper from Bahia to Paris franked with two pairs of 100 r. green and pair...

1900/1933: Group of seven items, comprising three envelopes of which one franked with 1898 Newspaper 300 r. on 200 r. black (x4) on registered sent to Denmark; high value franking air post 35'800 r. on coffee sample bag to London; also two scarce censor covers from Brazil to Ireland with Irish censor marks with early automatic "CH" sorting mark, also one postcard and an uprated stationery card, the latter with "ROYAL MAIL STEAM PACKET" violet...

1853 (July 1): Perkins Bacon 5 c. red-brown on blued, a used example with large margins all round, of wonderful rich colour, lightly cancelled in black leaving the profile clear. Exceptional. Signed Maier BPP Gi = £ 60/Scott = $ 125.

First London Printing from Perkins Bacon plates 1853 (July): 5 c. red-brown on blued paper, a used block of four with mainly just clear to large margins (just touched at upper left), cancelled by four strikes of a black 6-bar target handstamp. Tear to the top of the upper left stamp and some other minor faults but a very rare multiple, a block of four being the largest recorded. Cert. Moorhouse (2011).

First London Printing from Perkins Bacon plates 1853 (July): 10 c. deep bright blue on blued paper, clear at central left, otherwise good to large margins, deep and fresh colour, unused with original gum. Very fine and particularly rare in this condition.

1853 (July 1): Perkins Bacon 10 c. deep blue on blued, wmk. 1, a used example with large margins all round, lightly cancelled by target handstamp in black; slightest of wrinkling not detracting from the superb appearance

1853 (July 1): Perkins Bacon 10 c. deep blue on yellowish, a used example with huge margins all round, wmk. 1 and with part marginal watermark at right, extremely lightly cancelled in black leaving the Colon vignette entirely clear. A magnificent example of this scarce stamp Gi 2 = £ 100+/Scott 2 = $ 150+.

1853 (July 1): First Perkins Bacon London printing 10 c. deep bright blue on blued paper, a used example, close at upper right but with large margins on two sides and portion of adjoining stamp at base, showing "Ivory Head" variety, lightly cancelled by target handstamp in black. Scarce. Opinion Holcombe (1997) Scott = $ 225.

1854 (Feb): Desmadryl 5 c. reddish-brown, wmk. 1, a used example with clear to good margins all round, lightly cancelled by part CHILLAN handstamp in black. Scarce thus Gi 4 = £ 40/Scott = $ 75.
