1831 Entire from DACCA to Calcutta bearing on reverse "DACCA POST PAID/18 " double oval datestamp in black (Giles 6) with date '21 Aug.' in m/s, red "CALCUTTA/G.P.O./24 AG 24/1831" cds (not recorded by Giles, somewhat similar to Giles G9) and red "PM" h/s along with red sender's wax seal, fine. An early letter from Dacca (now Bangladesh capital) addressed to the famous Capt. J.W. Ouseley in Calcutta, and bearing fine strikes of scarce postmarks.
