Chalons 2 d. blue and 6 d. pale apple-green, perf. 13 a single and horizontal pair used on 1869 cover from Charleville to London endorsed "via Marseilles" tied by "53" numeral obliterators with corresponding "CHARLEVILLE / QUEENSLAND" despatch cds at left (Dec 6). Reverse with Brisbane transit cds (Dec 16) and London arrival (Feb 21, 1870). Illustrated and listed in the Ben Palmer Queensland census on page 194.
