Postal Stationery1897/1908: 2½ d. purple on blue (2) and 5 d. purple-brown, used on McCorquodale 3 d. red registration envelope (H&G C1) to Akron, Ohio, USA tied by "Registered / Brisbane" cds's in blue with marginal Brisbane registration label and framed "A.R." in blue - this being extremely rare with just two such examples recorded. Reverse with San Francisco transit and Akron arrival (Dec 13, 1911) and two "International Exchange Hobby Club" coloured and perforated labels..
