Austrian Post Office in Smirna 1867/74: 10 s. blue, a single example and a horizontal pair used on "Echantillon sans valeur" cloth envelope for mailing samples sent registered to St. Denis, Reunion tied byy three line dated "SMIRNE" datestamp (22 September 1883) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 11). Registration cachet at top right in black, correctly rated 20 soldi + 10 soldi registration. Reverse with Austrian P.O.  ALEXANDRIA thimble cds, "Alexandrien / Recommandirt" cds and French Paquebot "Ligne T" cds. A magnificent and extremely rare cover.
