'2' and 4 d. pale blue in a horizontal strip of four, margins generally fine, used on 1858 registered double rate cover to London, tied by manuscript pen strokes on despatch with "Registered Sorell 9/11/58" Postmaster's endorsement at left. Hobart "PRE-PAID" transit datestamp in red with oval "REGISTERED / LONDON" in black (11 Jan 1859) of arrival and handstruck "d6" internal registration fee to pay. A magnificent and rare cover. Cert.
