1801/1830c: Collection of four pre-philatelic covers and twelve cover fronts, all with early handstamp marks, including scarce straight line "San Josè" in red on cover front (x6), and framed oval "Villanueva" in black (x6) also on cover front, and a cover bearing the rare framed "BAGASES" in grey-brown on 1813 sent to Tobacco Factor in Villanueva, and "GUANACASTE" in brown (Harris fig. 51) on cover, also a very fine strike of "CARTAGO" fancy framed in brown on cover to Leon (Nicaragua), a generally fine group, a rare accumulation.
