1882: Liberty Head, 7 c. ultramarine, plate II (first printing), used in combination with 1887 Salomon 1 c. lake and 2 c. violet, from Jacmel to Salama, Guatemala, dated 21 February 1889, tied by Jacmel datestamp in black and 'AGENCIA POSTAL NACIONAL PANAMA' dated 27 February, endorsed "p. RM St. via Colon", to the reverse two strikes of the Colon transit in blue also dated 27 February and a violet Guatamala arrival dated 8 March 1889, vertical filing crease to the left side not affecting stamps and small part of right side of back missing, otherwise fine and a scarce mixed franking to an unusal destination.
