1878: Morazan 1 c. violet, ten examples used on 1889 cover to Manchester, UK endorsed "via New Orleans", with reverse showing a single example and a strip of six to pay the 10 c. / 1 real rate. Adhesives, one with fault at base, all tied by circular three ring target handstamps in purple with oval framed "ADMINISTRACION DEPARTMENTAL / DE CORREOS / COMAYAGUA" at left (Oct 30). Reverse with oval framed "REPUBLIQUE DE HONDURAS / BUREAU POSTAL D'ÉXCHANGE / PUERTO CORTEZ" in blue (Nov 12), New Orleans cds (Nov 19), New York cds (Nov 22) and Manchester arrival (Dec 1).
