1878: Morazan 1 r. green and 2 r. deep blue, single examples used on registered cover to Halifax, Nova Scotia each tied by barred obliterators in black with oval framed "REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS / R" registration cachet in violet at left and "ADMINISTRACION / CORREOS / TEGUCIGALPA" despatch cds (Aug 20) in black. Reverse with New York transit (Sept 13) and Halifax arrival (Sept 16) in black. An extremely fine and rare cover. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
