1840: 2 d. blue, Mulready letter sheet, a97, showing pre-printing paper folds, used from Edinburg to Dingwall, dated 1 July 1841, cancelled by a black Maltese Cross, with a Digwall circular arrival datestamp alongside in black (JY 2). To the reverse a faint backstamp in red. Cover is soiled, heavily to the back and has imperfections and faults, however a scarce example, unusually with the printing error Gi = £ 2'400.
