1865: ½ r. deep ultramarine on white wove paper, a horizontal strip of four of superb appearance, large margins on three sides and just shaved at upper left, used on 8 June 1870 cover from Guayaquil to Valparaiso, Chile tied by bold pen cross in manuscript ink. The adhesives of delightful rich colour, a fine and attractive usage.
