According to Thierry Weil, the marketing director of FIFA, the stamp collecting programme offers a great opportunity to the officials of the world to play their role in the celebration of the mega event of world football. It also enables a strong national engagement for a global event which will bring together in one place the best of teams playing before billions of people all over the world.

Brazil is hosting the World Cup for the second time since 1950, so there will be a lot of excitement among enthusiasts.
